New Training Insights: Monthly Calendar & Workout Analytics

We're rolling out powerful new features to help you visualize your training history and understand your workout patterns like never before.

Monthly Workout Calendar

Your workout history now comes to life with an interactive calendar that makes tracking your consistency effortless. The new Monthly Workout Calendar gives you a complete visual timeline of your training journey.

Flexible viewing options let you toggle between a full month grid showing 42 days or a streamlined current week strip, adapting to how you prefer to view your data. Days with completed workouts display visual dots, and when you've logged multiple sessions in a single day, a counter shows exactly how many workouts you crushed.

Navigate your history with ease using arrow buttons to move between months, or tap the date picker to jump directly to any month since January 2024. Found a day you want to review? Just tap it to open a bottom sheet displaying all workouts from that day, complete with exercise counts and routine names. From there, you can tap any workout to view the complete workout log with full details.

Smart behind the scenes, the calendar features intelligent data caching that keeps your workout history readily available. Current month data refreshes every 7 days, recent months (last 6 months) cache for 8 weeks, and older historical data caches for 2 weeks. Your data persists across app restarts, so your training history is always at your fingertips. The calendar also displays overflow days from adjacent months to complete week rows, giving you seamless context across month boundaries.

The Monthly Workout Calendar integrates seamlessly with your existing workout logs, transforming your training data into an intuitive visual timeline that makes tracking consistency and reviewing past sessions easier than ever.

Training Overview

Understanding your training patterns is key to making progress, and the new Training Overview feature analyzes your recent workouts from the last 14 days to give you comprehensive insights into your training habits.

At-a-glance statistics show your total sessions, average workout duration, and average volume per session, giving you immediate feedback on your training consistency and intensity. The Daily Volume Trend Chart visualizes your training volume day-by-day, helping you spot patterns and ensure you're maintaining appropriate training loads.

Top Muscle Groups breakdown ranks which muscle groups you've trained most by volume, showing percentage distribution so you can quickly identify where your training focus has been. This high-level view helps you catch potential imbalances before they become issues.

The real depth comes with Detailed Muscle Analysis, featuring spider charts for each major muscle group—Legs, Back, Chest, Shoulders, Arms, and Core. These charts drill down to show exactly which specific muscles you've targeted. For example, the Legs analysis breaks down into quads, hamstrings, glutes, and calves individually, giving you precise visibility into your training distribution within each major group.

This comprehensive snapshot of your training patterns helps you identify imbalances, track your training focus over time, and make informed decisions about where to direct your efforts in upcoming workouts.

Coming Soon: Training Plan Bottom Sheet

While the Training Overview shows you what you've been doing, we're developing a complementary feature to give you deeper insights into your training plans themselves.

The upcoming Training Plan Bottom Sheet will introduce a draggable interface that you can swipe up from a minimized state to access detailed information about your training plans. The sheet will feature four organized tabs: Overview for quick summaries, Muscle Map for visual breakdowns of targeted muscle groups, Breakdown for detailed exercise and set information, and Progress to track your advancement over time.

The interface will feature a persistent drag handle and tab bar that remain visible while scrolling, making it easy to navigate between sections. The sheet will snap between collapsed and expanded states, giving you quick access when you need a glance and detailed review when you want to dive deep.

This feature represents the next evolution in how you interact with your training plans, complementing the historical analysis of the Training Overview with forward-looking insights into your planned training structure.

The Bigger Picture

These features work together to give you complete visibility into both your training history and patterns. The Monthly Workout Calendar shows you where you've been, the Training Overview analyzes how you've been training, and the upcoming Training Plan Bottom Sheet will help you plan where you're going.

Your training data tells a story. Now you have the tools to read it clearly.
