Groups, Goals, Competitions & Social Training
Create groups, invite members, chat, share training plans, track group goals and compete with other NutriMotion users.

NutriMotion’s social features have been expanded with a stronger group hub, group goals, competitions, member management and shared training features.
Groups are designed for people who train together, coach each other, compare progress or want a shared space around fitness. You can create a group, invite members, chat, share training plans and keep track of group activity from one place.
What’s included
- Group hub - a central page for each group.
- Group chat - open the group chat from the hub.
- Group goals - create and track shared targets.
- Group competitions - follow current leaders and winners.
- Recent activity feed - see what has been happening in the group.
- Shared training plans - access training plans shared in group chat.
- Group invites - invite new members into a group.
- Members screen - view group members and member count.
- Group settings - manage group details from a dedicated settings page.
- Group home tile support - keep a selected group accessible from the home dashboard.
The group hub
The group hub now acts as the main entry point for social training.
At the top of the group, quick actions give direct access to goals, competitions and invites. Below that, the hub shows active group tabs, recent activity and the main group sections.
Available sections include:
- Chat.
- Goals.
- Competitions.
- Leaderboard.
- Workout Logs.
- Training Plans.
- Recipes.
- Members.
Some sections are intentionally staged as placeholders while the wider group system is built out, but the hub structure is now in place and gives groups a clearer long-term layout.
Goals and competitions
Groups now support dedicated goal and competition areas.
Goals are intended for shared targets, such as a group training milestone or consistency target. Competitions are for comparing performance and showing current leaders or winners.
The group hub also shows live active counts for goals and competitions, making it easier to see whether anything is currently running without digging into each section.
Group activity
The recent activity feed gives each group a sense of movement. Instead of a group being only a static member list or chat room, activity can surface important updates from the group.
This makes the hub more useful as a quick check-in page: open the group, see active goals, see competitions and review recent activity.
Member management
Groups now have better support for member roles and management.
Group owners and admins can be handled separately, and members can be opened from relevant group screens. The member list also shows owner/admin status where relevant.
This is important for larger groups where the person who created the group should not be the only one able to help manage it.
Shared training plans
Training plans can now be surfaced inside the group area, giving groups a route toward shared programming.
This is useful for:
- Friends following the same routine.
- Coaches sharing a plan with clients.
- Small training groups working from one shared structure.
- Comparing progress while using similar workouts.
Why this matters
NutriMotion is not just about tracking isolated workouts. Groups make the app more useful for people who train with others, want accountability or want a shared place to compare progress.
This update gives groups a more complete foundation: chat, goals, competitions, activity, training plan sharing and member management in one hub.
